Ritsurin Park

Next we traveled to Ritsurin Park, a beautiful park from the 17th century. Various lords of the region throughout the ensuing years continued expanding the park until it has become the gorgeous “Special Beauty Spot”. Meandering paths, ponds and waterfalls, graceful bridges, nestled tea houses, all were settled in with an eye to the whole effect – absolutely gorgeous!
